CE Opportunity: Understanding the Balance
Between CT Dose & Image Quality
We still have a few spots open for our upcoming CE opportunity!
PRS is working with Stronger Links Medical Imaging Education to bring you quarterly education opportunities via webinar. The format for this 2-hour CE opportunity is a pre-recorded video session that will be available to complete within a designated time frame over the week of October 31st - November 3rd. This means that you can still earn CE credit, even if you can't be at your computer for a straight 2-hour block of time to view the webinar in a single session.
Webinar Objectives & Activity Instructions
- Discuss the issues that lead to concern for CT radiation dose.
- Radiation exposure per-capita trends
- Over-utilization
- Medical radiation accidents
- Define terms and measures relative to CT radiation dose
- Identify image quality measures
- Understand how image quality measures and parameters affect radiation dose
- Each registrant will be emailed a link to the content video.
- Each registrant will view the video, then send a response to Stronger Links stating they have viewed the video and are ready for the post-test.
- Stronger Links will email the post-test and answer sheet to each registrant who confirmed having viewed the video. The post-test is to be printed, completed, and returned via email to Stronger Links.
- The post-tests will be graded and returned to the participant. If the participant passed, a certificate will also be emailed. The ASRT requires a passing score of at least 75% or higher to issue credit. If a participant attempts a post-test three times and is unable to achieve a passing score, credit cannot be issued.
Registration is limited and due by October 25th! To register online, please visit: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WLDL8ZV As registration is limited, we would ask that you only register if you are sure that you will complete the session within the designated timeframe. Thank you!
