Lung Cancer Screening Registry Participation
As you may already know, PRS is subscribed to the ACR Lung Cancer Screening Registry™ (LCSR) in order to help facilitate data submission to the LCSR for our clients who choose to participate in our Low Dose CT for Lung Cancer Screening program. To date, LCSR is the only approved registry by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to enable providers to meet quality reporting requirements to receive Medicare CT lung cancer screening payment. In order to help us support you and aid in the facilitation of data submission to the registry, we ask that the forms below be completed by your facility and sent to PRS with each exam:
- Case Registration Form - The Case Registration form is the first form to be completed when recording a lung cancer screening exam. A new form is required for each exam, even if you have previously recorded a different lung cancer screening exam for this patient. This form comes from the ACR and is submitted to the registry.
- CT Chest: Low-Dose Lung Cancer Screening Worksheet (PDF) - In addition to sending this worksheet along with the exam, we would ask that, within the online order entry, the exam title include LDCT or Lung Cancer Screening to ensure the exam falls into the appropriate workflow. Many of the fields on this worksheet are required by (and submitted to) the registry as well.
Thank you, in advance!
