Radiologist Requests for Worksheets

Our Radiologists have asked us to share a reminder of the importance of having the pertinent worksheet available at the time an exam is submitted to be read. This helps us to provide the complete Inside Story in the most efficient and timely manner.

Because our Radiologists have requested a tech worksheet with all larger studies to ensure that they receive complete information, especially on the patient history, it is our process to call every time we are missing a worksheet.

If for some reason, you are submitting a CT, MR, US or NM study without a worksheet, making a note of that within the RIS Order Notes section will prevent our staff from delaying the study while working to track down what appears to be a missing worksheet.

Hodgeman County Health Center, a 12-bed Critical Access Hospital  in western Kansas, is accepting applications for a full-time Registered Radiologic Technologist (new grads are welcome to apply). This is a daytime shift, Monday-Friday position, with on-call after-hours (2 weekdays per week and every other weekend). Computed Tomography and C-Arm experience a plus, but will cross-train if needed. Agfa CR, GE Portable, Siemens 16 Slice CT and Genoray C-arm.
